Bessem Enonchong, Chief Executive Officer (Douala, Cameroon)
Ms. Enonchong has broad business development experience in the LPG industry across Africa, with special focus on the LPG markets of West and Central Africa. She previously served as the Director, Central Africa, where she had key leadership roles in advisories and national planning for the governments of Cameroon, Rwanda, Ghana and Democratic Republic of Congo. As a senior Sales and Marketing Manager with Kosan Crisplant, the world’s largest LPG filling plant company, she successfully directed the 2006 Cameroon market launch of GLOCALGAZ, a first-of-its-kind subsidiary focused on safe, best-practice residential LPG distribution. She subsequently served as Kosan’s senior LPG equipment sales executive responsible for Sub-Saharan Africa. Ms. Enonchong was honored by the World LPG Association as the Women in LPG Global Network (WINLPG) Role Model in 2015. She holds a B.A. in History and a postgraduate degree in Pedagogy from the University of Buea, Cameroon.
Elizabeth Muchiri, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer (Nairobi, Kenya)
Ms. Muchiri has over 25 years’ experience in the gas sector. She started her career in BOC Kenya Ltd. In 2008, she joined the National Oil Corporation of Kenya as its first LPG Manager, where she led the launch of the Supa Gas brand. Since 2013, she has worked as an LPG consultant in East Africa, engaged by LPG companies to advise on management and distribution strategies. In her capacity as ALPGI Director for East Africa, she participated in national LPG sector advisories, studies and planning for the governments and LPG industries of Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Nigeria, Zambia, Tanzania and Mozambique. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and an MBA from Strathmore University in Kenya.
Renzo Bee, Chair, Policy, Regulatory & Development Advisory Group (Paris, France)
Mr. Bee focuses on policy and regulatory reform with ALPGI's host country governments. He has had a 40-year career of senior positions in the oil and gas industry. He was formerly Director of Global Accounts and Partnerships at Total, and served 13 years as global director of LPG, with responsibility for Total's LPG activities in 90 countries. Mr. Bee holds an engineering degree from Arts et Metiers ParisTech, an MBA from the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises, and a postgraduate degree from the Centre for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies in Paris.
Derek Saleeby, Senior Advisor, Blended and Investment Finance (New York City, USA)
Mr. Saleeby has broad experience in banking, capital markets and investment in emerging markets and developed countries and across sectors and capital structures. He has worked with DFIs, IFIs, governments and the full range of private sector capital providers. He currently serves as a Managing Partner of TOTAL Impact Capital, a global advisory and impact investment firm. His previous roles include senior positions with global firms including Citibank and Deutsche Bank Asset Management/RLJ. He has a BA in Economics and Politics from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Meixi Gan, Senior Advisor, Financial and Gender Inclusion (Singapore)
Ms. Gan advises on program design, execution, and impact evaluation of ALPGI’s consumer finance and women’s empowerment projects to promote clean cooking energy access and capacity building. Recently, Ms. Gan directed the Sustainability program at the Singapore Institute for International Affairs. For ALPGI and other institutions, Ms. Gan has led multi-year programs to improve energy access, financial inclusion, and gender equality in Asian and African countries. She has served in Singapore government service, implementing strategies to enhance infrastructure and trade financing in regional emerging markets. Ms. Gan holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs, focusing on Energy and Environment, from Columbia University in New York City.

Kimball Chen, Chairman (Todi, Italy)
Mr. Chen has served as the Chairman of ALPGI since its founding in 2012. He is an industry statesman in the LNG and LPG sectors, with more than 40 years’ experience as a CEO, investor, senior advisor to governments and international organizations, and former President of the World LPG Association (the global voice of the LPG industry). Mr. Chen received his B.A. (Magna Cum Laude) from Harvard University in 1973 and his MBA from Harvard University in 1978.
Anibor Kragha (Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire)
Mr. Kragha has served as the Executive Secretary of the African Refiners & Distributors Association (ARDA) from 2020. He was ARDA President from 2019. He previously served as Group General Manager, Treasury and Chief Operating Officer, Refining & Petrochemicals at Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and spent ten years prior to NNPC with Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN) and ExxonMobil affiliates in Nigeria and the USA. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, USA, an M.S. in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, USA, and an MS in Chemical Engineering and MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Alex Evans (New York City, USA)
Mr. Evans has had a 30-year career of senior management positions in global energy and technology companies. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Energy Transportation Group, whose historic focus has included major energy infrastructure, particularly LNG shipping and LPG distribution. He served as President of The Global LPG Partnership from its founding in 2012 until 2020. He also has served on the Industry Council and working committees of the World LPG Association. He holds a BSc degree (Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering from Yale University and an MBA degree (highest honors) from Harvard University.
